“Little Light”

Hi, I’m Riley! In 2021, my life turned upside down. For years, I had been aimlessly following the path everyone else seemed to be on—graduate high school, go to college, and get a “big girl” job. It was my last semester before I would graduate college that those doors started to close. When I was forced to take a leave that semester, everything shifted. Growth opportunities at work opened up, I graduated college without my teaching license, and most importantly, I met Jesus!

Since then, He has been opening doors and answering prayers I once only dreamed of. I married a God-fearing man, found myself surrounded by the sweetest group of girlfriends, and even watched some of the closest people in my life meet Him too.

Needless to say, He turned my life around and made my name matter. I know this will not appeal to everyone, and that is okay. You do not have to know Him to be here. Poca Luz is for every girl—those who are called, curious, hurt, or somewhere in between. The little light we carry matters.
